Te Papa now charges $1 for storing items at the ground floor coat and bag check, however it is free for the Friends of Te Papa.
As with all members’ benefits, discounts at Te Papa store and at Te Papa cafés, you are required to show your membership card to receive the benefit.
Te Papa staff do not have access to the Friends of Te Papa database and are unable to look it up and verify you are a member. Remember carry your card at all times. If you have mislaid your card, contact the office and we will be happy to arrange a replacement.
