This event has been postponed until 2022.
For those who couldn’t make or manage our 3 recent Wednesday Walks we bring you a shorter version which is adapted to be inclusive of our Friends who are less mobile.
Sharon from the Friend’s office and Helen from our committee will lead you on a small group guided tour (with social distancing in place) around the art, sculpture, heritage and history of the central city.
We will leave from Te Papa at 10am and walk for one and a half hours. You will get a guide leaflet to refer to and take home with links to the research and for further information.
Walking shoes, warm layers, and water are suggested. There are conveniences along the route.
Free parking at Te Papa is included, and this allows you time either before or after the walk to stop by one of their cafes for coffee and a treat ( not included)
We will proceed unless the weather prevents safety and hearing. If we cannot proceed, the cancellation date will be the following day, Friday 3rd December
Meet in Te Papa Foyer by 9.50am please, allowing time for scanning in. You must wear a mask.
