THIS TOUR IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
The first tour to Aratoi was fully booked, so to meet demand, we are offering a second chance.
You will travel by bus to Masterton, where, at Aratoi, Wairarapa Museum of Art and History, curator Haami Te Whaiti will lead a tour of Wairarapa Whakaputa Mohio – a fascinating introduction to the region’s rich history.
A range of exhibitions will include a touring photography exhibition, Now and Then – a photographic survey from Te Manawa, and a behind-the-scenes tour with collection manager Bronwyn Reid. Then it’s homeward bound, with time for you to buy a late lunch and enjoy a spot of gallery hopping or window shopping in historic Greytown.
This is a free tour, supported by the Wellington Regional Amenities Fund, and the Friends of Te Papa. The tour will depart from, and return to Te Papa.
