Robert Clendon, Conservator Objects, will take a tour of the recently opened Te Taiao | Nature exhibition to show the ways that are used to enable collection items to be displayed. This is an opportunity to discuss what is involved in developing, installing and maintaining a long-term exhibition from an Objects Conservators perspective. Areas of interest will be the Endemic wall cases, Treehouse, the Colossal squid and the Kohunga/Nest area. Explore the various methods and expertise involved in ensuring the care of the nations precious treasures (taonga) and how best to show them off to international audiences.
