Claire Regnault
Join curator Claire Regnault for an illustrated talk on fashion in Katherine Mansfield’s Wellington, in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the writer’s birth.
Claire’s talk is inspired by Wellington’s social pages, in which the young Katherine Beauchamp frequently appeared, and by fashion issues of the day. Claire touches on everything from department stores and society dressmakers to dress reform, fearsome hats at the cricket, and Dr Truby King’s stringent views on shoes.
